Description

The Ag9700 series of PoE modules are designed to extract power from a conventional twisted pair Category 5 Ethernet cable, conforming to the IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) standard. The Ag9700 is a complete cost reduced solution, with an optimised DC-DC converter making it both reliable and competitive with POE IC based alternatives for medium to high volume applications. The module is very easy to use, requiring minimal external components and provides isolation between the input and output compliant with IEEE802.3af. The Ag9700 series is available in 12V, 5V, 3V and 24V options to suit a wide range of applications.  An industrial temperature POE module (FL) is also available for operation between -40°DegC to +85°DegC.  The modules in the Ag9700 series are the recommended replacements for the Ag9000, Ag9400 and Ag9600 series.
