EP963EQ is a Display Port (DP) 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 Converter which accepts DP 1.2 inputs and converts the video/audio streams to HDMI 1.4/2.0 output. The DP input port supports 1/2/4-lane DP receiving up-to 5.4 Ghz bit rate. The HDMI output port supports HDMI 1.4 up-to 3 Ghz bit rate and HDMI 2.0 up-to 6 Ghz bit rate. HDCP decryption and encryption are also supported. The chip is compliant with Display Port 1.2a, HDCP 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 specifications. The chip supports 24-bit video up-to 4K2K 60 Hz frame rate
